Welcome to Kern Federal Credit Union

Since our beginning in 1949, Kern Federal Credit Union has been committed to serving our members' needs first. Our members have come to depend on us when buying a car or home, or seeking the best returns on their savings. It's where they belong.

It's where a members' personal savings are federally insured up to $100,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (IRAs are separately insured up to an additional $250,000).

See the current Truth-In-Savings Disclosure that is provided when you open your account, and upon request.
Fees could reduce the earnings on the account. Refer to the current Fee Schedule that is provided when you open your account. For Money Market Accounts free withdrawals are limited to 6 per month.
If you close your account before dividends are credited, you will not receive accrued dividends.
Substantial penalty for early withdrawal.
Consult your tax advisor.
Annual IRA "Plan" maintenance fee is $10.00 per year.
$5.00 minimum opening deposit for members age 15 years and under.
