CFO


SUMMARY


Is responsible for and has the commensurate authority to direct the fiscal functions of the credit union. Works with the President and other Vice Presidents to promote a team approach to management, and is a member of the Senior Management Team. Recommends and participates in the formation of new products, services, policies, and procedures. Evaluate and advise on the impact of strategic initiatives, new products and services and regulatory action.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:


Requires a combination of knowledge and experience in the fields of accounting and finance, and the ability to effectively work with staff.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


Must possess adequate professional competency to exercise the authority granted by the Board of Directors, as demonstrated by a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field of accounting experience. Prior investment management experience preferred. Requires five years of accounting experience in a financial institution, with at least two years in a supervisory capacity. Satisfactory completion of an accredited supervisor training program may be substituted for supervisor experience.
